Apprentices
If you are an entrepreneurial individual with a desire to learn about trading the global financial markets and the successful functioning of a professional Proprietary Trading & Investment House then Futex would like to hear from you.
We are currently recruiting 18-24 year olds who have achieved good GCSE results with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A with a least an A in Maths. You may be studying for higher education, however, you must not yet have obtained a University degree or equivalent qualification.
The Futex Apprenticeship in Business Administration for Traders and Investors is a multi-faceted programme that delivers both theoretical training and practical experience of (1) the financial markets, (2) Futex as a Proprietary Trading & Investment House and (3) Business Administration.
1) Financial Markets
During your 12 month programme you will learn and develop the skills to be able to trade in the futures markets. Topics covered include:
- Financial Market Essentials
- Fundamental drivers/market sentiment
- Macroeconomics
- Technical Analysis
- Correlated Markets
- Trading Psychology
- How to trade the Market Depth
- Money Management
- Simulator Trading
- Ongoing assessment
Day to day tasks will include financial market research and analysis; trade idea generation and execution; performance review and strategy development; and personal account management.
2) Futex the Company
During your 12 month programme you will also be exposed to the Futex business by working in key business areas including IT, administration, sales, marketing and operations.
3) Business Administration
Apprentices will also receive full training and support from our partner Learning Provider in order to ensure they successfully achieve their Business and Administration qualification.
The 12 month Futex Apprenticeship will be based on one of our state-of-the-art trading floors in either Surrey or the City of London. Salaries will be £145.00/week with a substantial performance related bonus.
The recruitment process for Apprentices is conducted over 3 stages:
- Submit a C.V. for consideration
- Assessment centre held at Futex's office in Woking, Surrey
